Lunches on the strip often merge into sundowners as the sun dips below the Atlantic Ocean, as heady summer days become vibrant nights on the Victoria Road strip.

Camps Bay Junior and High Schools have excellent reputations and are both centrally located in the area.

Camps Bay does not have any hospitals located in the area, but the Sea Point Medical Centre, Cape Town Mediclinic and Christian Barnard Hospital in the Cape Town City Centre are all easily accessible by car.
