With its strong demand and impressively low vacancy rates, it's no wonder our city continues to shine.

Nationally, the market faced a few bumps. Interest rates remained a hot topic, and house prices showed some small declines in places. But amidst the uncertainty, we saw inspiring resilience - buyers getting savvy, landlords staying optimistic, and the rental market bouncing back in style.

And let's not forget the good news. Listed property funds saw a strong recovery, and there are signs that borrowing costs could ease further in 2025. It's been a challenging year, sure, but one with plenty to be optimistic about as we move forward.

Big Moments for The Agency

For us at The Agency, 2024 has been nothing short of amazing. The big highlight? Expanding into Mauritius. It's been a dream come true to bring our boutique, personalised service to this stunning island, helping more people find homes where their hearts truly belong.

Back home, our team has grown too. We were beyond excited to welcome Greg McDonald  to The Agency family this year. He's already making waves with his expertise and energy, and we couldn't be happier to have him on board.
